His mother was reportedly Hannah McLean (or MacLean) who was married to George W Decker, but not until 1835, three years after the birth of their first child . . . It is also reported that Hannah had been previously married to George Hosford in 1827. Uncertain if George W Decker had another wife, previous to Hannah and am hoping an obituary or death certificate might shed some light on this situation. Assistance is ALWAYS greatly appreciated.
