He owned a clothing store in the Granite Block. Was married and had 2 children (Harold and Floyd) by 1903. Sometime after 1910 his wife, Elvira Johnson Ostensen, remarried to Christian Olsen, a widower, in Washington State. I am trying to find out what happened to Hans. One snippet of information I found says that a Hans Ostensen died when the building where his haberdashery was collapsed on him. Unfortunately the information did not say where that was.
