He was born circa 1851 in Michi= gan and married Mary BURGESS circa 1877. Their children were: Sallie (born = October, 1878 in MI, NFI), Isaac (1881-1945, married Charlotte COAN), Clare= nce (1885-1961, married Blanche Leone ARNOLD), Lloyd (born March, 1889, mar= ried Ida L. SCHIPANSKI), Verna E. "Vern" (a son, 1895-1979) and a child tha= t did not survive. This family appears in the 1900 US Census for Liberty Tw= p., Wexford Co., MI and seemingly nowhere else. (Yes, I have searched the n= ew LDS Record Search Pilot Site.) =0A=0AClarence Vandercook reportedly owne= d the Chevrolet dealership and garage in Manton. He and Blanche are buried = at Fairview Cemetery there. (The other Vandercooks buried in Fairview are f= rom a different, traceable line.) Several of the siblings from this family = migrated downstate to Wayne Co.=0A=0AImportant Note:=0AThe author of this m= essage may not be subscribed to this list.
