But I have a question. I have an ancestor that died "MAR 2, 1910, Wexford, MI". I don't know the city or township in Wexford county where she died. Do you know what newspaper/s I might check to locate the obit in 1910? Here is the information: Marie (Mary) [nee] MCCOSHEN, b. SEP 28, 1850, Franktown (Vinton) QC; d. MAR 2, 1910, Wexford Co., MI. Married Alphonse RANCOURT (Rancour), OCT 1, 1870, St. Anne's RC, Calumet, QC. Son, Danil (Daniel) Rancourt, b. MAR 27, 1871 Marie's parents: Roderick McCoshen and Elisabeth Nesbitt Alphonse's parents: Louis Rancourt & Emilie Terre I'm trying to break through a brick wall with my 2nd g-grandparents above, McCoshen & Nesbitt. So, I figure if I can locate death records and obits of their children, I may find out more about where to find BMS records in Canada for my 2nd g-grandparents. Right now I'm struggling to locate BMS records for Old St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Canada East, Ottawa, for early 1800's, c. 1806 & 1811. I appreciate any input you may have to offer regarding newspapers. Thanks. And I'll respond to anyone who answers this post as I am desparate for help.
