There is not a book for sale that I know of, but a printout of the City's computerized index of the cemetery was available at the Cadillac Public Library. http://www.cadillaclibrary.org/ More information is probably available from the City of Cadillac, which owns the cemetery. http://www.cadillac-mi.net/ You might also try the Wexford Genealogy Organization. http://www.wgo.itgo.com/ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I checked for the name Roper in _a few_ of the cem. Nothing in the following: Mt. Carmel Selma Slagle Haring S Branch & Henderson Cornell Meauwataka Soper Larson Some are not in alpha order so it would be more time consuming. The mixup I think I have for cem.. is whether there is an Antioch cem and a Mesick Cem in Antioch twp. I was using a marker to write with and ran out of space~ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. There are several books and I have them in 6 notebook binders. Mt. Carmel Twp is Clam Lake Cem Selma Twp is Selma Cem Slagle Twp is Sixteen Cem Haring Twp is Haring Twp Cem Liberty Twp is Haire Cem Mesick & Sherman Cherry Grove Twp has Cherry Grove Cem and Larson Cem (tiny) Clam Lake has Mt. Carmel Cem and Hobart Lutheran Cem Colfax Lake Twp has Meauwataka Cem and Soper Cem Greenwood Twp is Manton Cem Cedar Creek Twp is Fairview Cem (2 I think) and Gilbert Cem Antioch Twp has Antioch Cem and Mesick & Sherman Cem Boon Twp is Hillside Cem and East and West Boon Cem South Branch & Henderson Twp is Banker Cem Wexford Twp is Cornell Cem Now.. I will double check this later as I had not planned on doing this and made hen-scratching notes as I sat on the floor with these books! ;) Did it say what twp Maple Hill was in? Mitchell Street is the main drag and there is a large cemetery on the left going out of town from the North. I do NOT know this area in regards to twps or cem. I have the books and visit the town on occasions and pass through on the way downstate. I am in the adjoining county of Grand Traverse. MAYBE ??? the Cadillac Society did not do that cem as it is big?? just a guess. I will get back when I can as I am extremely bz.
