Its a pretty good little museum even ask about Marila Michigan Township Hall own museum there is neat to that one is open on Saturday afternoons this year. He took a boat out on Lake Michigan and drowned. He was found on a Michigan shore. He died between 1873 and 1874 based on Chicago records. Chicago has no death record of him. Is there any way I could get a death record from Michigan? I don't know what county he ended up in. He was born in 1829 and immigrated in 1871. I am of the family that stayed in Grand Rapids and did not head west. Leon Chulski was my great grandfather. I do have some information on the family, including census information.
