I was adopted in 1943 and I always wondered the names of my biological parents. Visited the morgue of the daily paper when I was in my teens but didn't see any child born at the hospital on my amended birth certificate. My Mom helped me to have my records opened when I was 40 as I had an interest in genealogy. It helped that she had a good friend who worked at our local court house who was close to the Family Court Judge.
