Thank you! Dane is definitely correct, and now I can compare this map to a contemporary one. The pages of the 1920 census clearly show "Pollard Street." What's also interesting is that, according to the 1920 census he owned a house on Pollard Street, and then by the 1930 census, he owned a house that our family still knows well on Mitchell in Hamtramck. I'm wondering if the Pollard Street house was destroyed to build a factory and maybe he was compensated for the house and could then buy one on Mitchell . . . . ? Thank you for this map. It's very very helpful for me. What do the numbers on St. Aubin, Dubois, etc., mean in your posting? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
