    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: softballdogmom Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.michigan.counties.wayne/17708.3/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Here is what I have from my mother: James Stewart Donald, born 1922, is her father. He married Phyllis West, and they lived in Michigan. He was a carpenter, as was his father (according to the 1942 WWII Registration). James's sisters birthdates and dates of death are as follows: Mary (May),b 3/30/1913 (?in Canada) and d. 1/4/2001 in California. She married Fred Ingham, and they had two sons. One is named James, and he resides in Naples, Florida. The other is Donald, and his whereabouts are unknown. Jean, b. 4-7-1920 (?Detroit, Michigan) and d. 11-21-1958 in California. She married Charles Kennedy, and they had one son, Charles. Betty June, b. 6-13-1925 (?Detroit, Michigan) and d. 10-17-2004 in Arizona. She married a man with surname Davis, and had two children. Possible name of one son is Burke or Burt. One of her children died in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shirley b. 9-29-1927 (?again assume Detroit) and d. 11-3-2004 (Arizona?) She first married Dennis Ressel, and together they had 3 or 4 children. One of her sons is Dennis. She divorced Dennis, and later remarried to Warren Denen. We are not sure when the four sisters moved out to California, along with their parents. We know it was after 1942 the parents went out there. When my grandfather was terminally ill, his sisters all came out to visit him. James and Phyllis remained in the Detroit, Michigan area, so her family would be near. They had three children, Patricia Carolyn (my mother), b. 4/15/1945; Joan and James. I will get their specific birthdates for you, as well. My mother has a vague memory of an aunt on her father's side that lived in Royal Oak, Michigan. This aunt died circa 1953. Does that sound familiar to you? Please share with your father. I apologize for it being in "American" format, in regards to the dates. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
