I tried to find Ida Ashfield, now a Widow on l940 Census, but had trouble I believe they lived at 8829 Marcus Ave. Detroit, which is what is on l930 census. Thanks for your help. MArcus was and still is an east-west street north Of harper on det roit's noartheast side. It was predominantly a Polish community.
