I can't answer your question directly but try google.com for "funeral homes dearborn MI" (no quotes) Walter Dalton does not come up so they are either closed or merged as you suggested. Two that I know of Voran and Howe-Peterson are still open. I would give either one of them a phone call and see if they can help.
