My Dad does have the James Stewart Donald b ca 1888 so it looks be likely to be same. Only thing is he has definitely put emigration to USA as 1909 with his wife, Mary, in 1912 and daughter, also Mary, in 1919. That of course would not necessary mean that he did not return in 1915.
