He was born on March 19, 1924 in Detroit Michigan. I have his birth parents names as Charles PIERCE and Betty REYNOLDS from a document that was in with my father's belongings after he passed away. The document is a Certificate of Birth from The Detroit Department of Health - Division of Vital Statistics and he is Reg. No. 6908 I am trying to find out any information on my fathers birth parents. Supposedly the story was that my fathers adopted mother (Berta Marie Snyder) ran a foster boys home and would not adopt unless both parents were deceased.
