Olivet. http://www.mtelliott.com/genealogy/search You can contact the cemetery and get a date of burial which could help you get a death record from either the City of Detroit (if he died there) or the State of Michigan or the county in which he died. Do you have the Archbishop's ancestors? There is a tree on Ancestry.com which shows that the Archbishop was born in Grand Rapids and his father was born in Lithuania. Marriage record on Familysearch.org for Alexander and Mary shows his father's name is Vincent and the he (Alex.) was born in Russia. I am assuming they are Catholic. The priest's name on the record looks like C. Rohowski. I would try contacting the Archdiocese of Detroit (AOD) to see if they can help you. Marriage date is 20 Jan 1890. A book published by the Downriver Gen. Society shows a Casimir Rohowski at St. Albertus Catholic Church from 1889-1891. According to the Archdiocese's website the parish is closed. If you live in the Detroit area, the records for that period of time are on microfilm at the main Detroit Public Library or contact the AOD. Records should be in the archives if the parish is closed.
