There is a place to email the staff at the bottom of the web page http://www.detroit.lib.mi.us/featuredcollection/burton-historical-collection Once you have the date of death, you could see if there is an article in any of the three Detroit papers for that time. The library has the newspapers but not in the Burton collection.
