Olivet Cemetery according to his death certificate which appears on SeekingMichigan.org The Mt. Elliott Cemetery website is not working properly. It includes Mt. Olivet. They updated their website and it doesn't seem to work the same as the old one did. Anyway, try it later or email them and ask who else is buried with him. http://www.mtelliott.com/genealogy/ The index to Michigan County Death Certificates (1921-1952)shows the following which I think is the wife that you are looking for. V sound like W and W sounds like a V when a German speaking person speaks English. Also Bs and Ps seem to get mixed up somehow. Anyway, her name was probably Walpurga or Walburga-look the name up on google. The 1880 census shows her name as Walpurga and the census was taken by someone whose last name appears to be of German origin and would probably be familiar with her given name. >From www.FamilySearch.org Name: Walburger Wick Event Type: Death Event Date: 25 Aug 1925 Event Place: Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States Gender: Female Age: 86 Marital Status: Widowed Birth Date: 25 Apr 1839 Birthplace: Switzerland Birth Year (Estimated): 1839 Father's Name: Mother's Name: Mary Karrer GS Film number: 001972974 Digital Folder Number: 005362532 Image Number: 00197 You can get her death certificate from the City of Detroit for $22.00 (I think).
