Her last name was still shown as Martz when she died in 1989 at Kalamazoo. Three of her five children are still living, so I won't post their names. I believe one of them was adopted because he was born in 1948...well after Marty died. Two Donald and Richard, both died in 2006. All of them were born in Kalamazoo. The death certificate I have for Marty is from Indiana. It has "Unknown" for both of his parents and location of their births on the document. So far, I have not been able to find any listing for Marty on the Michigan Birth Index from 1867-1902. There were over 7,000 people born in Detroit in 1900 if you do a search without a surname.
