The Vital Records office has divorces filed with the state since 1897, so I'm wondering if another Wayne County source would have these earlier records. The couple lived in the Martinsville post office area of Sumpter, in Wayne County, at the June 1884 Michigan State Census. He remarried in March 1890 in Wyandotte, Wayne County, and she remarried in October 1890 in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County. Thanks - any advice is appreciated!
