My suggestion would be to check the Canadian Marriages. I don't have a World Membership on Ancestry, so I can't view them myself. However, in my research I have a few family members born in Ontario, moved to Detroit, but married back in Ontario. If you have a World Membership, or know someone who does, it's worth a check just to make sure. If you haven't already done so, you may also want to check FamilySearch.org, which has a good collection of Michigan Marriage records. Good Luck!
