The State of Michigan would prefer that you pay $22 to obtain a death certificate, rather than allowing them to be posted where anyone can access them FREE. Doesn't Michigan still have a financial crisis? So if 50 researchers pay $22 each month, and multiply that by 12 months for 10 years, well, you get the point.
