My father in law was born in 1937 his dad is Harold Shank(s) and his mom in Ruth Shank(s). Their marriage did not last very long and I can't find him anywhere in the 1940 census but I do Ruth Shanks with my father-in-law and his sister and 3 half siblings (from a previous marriage).
