It had a lot of good information but at the end of the article there is a website to go to for the Archdiocese of Detroit. If you go there you they inform you how to go about getting records for baptism, marriage and death. There is also a list of closed parishes and a for to fill out for genealogy research. Site also informs you of that records for adoption, orphanages and any cleric teachers records were not kept. Hope this further information can be of help to others.
