His declaration is dated 7 Nov 1887. His naturalization, dated 13 Oct 1892,seems to be in 3 parts...the first has people vouching for him...the second is his renoucing the King of Denmark...the third is the section that declares him a citizen of the US. It states that the naturalization took place in the State of MN, County of Ramsey, District Court, 2nd Judicial District. There are 15 years between the 2 documents. However this is not the usual time, for in those days the period of time could be shorter, or they may never have taken the time to be naturalized. Quite possibly the FHL might have a microfilm of the naturalizations that occurred in Wayne Couty or possibly the library in Detroit might be able to give you some good ideas. Best of luck!
