Rosentreter Aug. 16, 1915,Dec. 14, 2002 FLAT ROCK -Frederick George Rosentreter; 87, of Flat Rock died Saturday in Trenton. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday at Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home. He will lie in state from 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church until services at 11 a.m. The Rev; Mark Kipfmiller; pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery; Oak Harbor; Ohio. Born Aug. 16, 1915, in Oak Harbor; Ohio, he was the son of George and Mildred (Perse ) Rosentreter. He married Evelyn Nielson in Chicago in 1946. He was employed as a tech- nician for WWJ-Tv; which is now WDIV channel 4, for 28 years. He retired in 1978. ; He served in the Navy from 1940 to 1945 and was at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attac~~~J 194L He served our years in the South Pacific, earning two bronze stars. . A Flat Rock resident for 51 years, he was a membex of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. His lifelong hobby was being a ham radio operator, receiving his license in 1933. Surviving are his wife of , ..\. Flat Rock; two sons, Roger of Galesburg and John of .Trenton; a daughter; Janice of Ecorse, and two grandchil- dren.
