David Lauria was born 1857 in Essex County, Ontario, being the son of Francois L'Heureux & Marguerite Robidoux. He was married to Henriette Dicaire around 1882 and later relocated to River Rouge around 1886. Death dates and place of burial for this couple remain unknown. David & Henriette Lauria had seven known children; namely, Mathilda Lauria (b. 1883); Francis Lauria (b. 1885); Marie Adeline Lauria (b. 1887); David Lauria (b. 1889); Pearlette Lauria (b. 1894); King Lauria (b. 1897) and Alexander Lauria (b. 1901).
