I have located distant relatives this way. With common names such as these, I usually go to http://veromi.net, and study the free portion of the results (never clicking the costly "more information" buttons). I then use the information from veromi to narrow down my search at http://411.com Since you know where he passed away, then I suggest getting a copy of his death certificate which will tell you, hopefully, where he was born and the names of his parents, to help search the 1920 and 1930 census records for his siblings names. It also should give you the name and address of the informant, hopefully a relative. Your post does not make it clear who is who, sibling vs. children's names, so I cannot take a people search very far. But since some of his siblings and, for sure, children, are likely to be alive, you can try using living people search tools to help you locate them, rather than just wait for someone to notice your post here. I like using http://veromi.net and http://411.com but there are many such free sites that can help you. Also, try to get the obituaries on him, those may tell you where his children and siblings were in 1993. There are lots more places to check to see if you can track them down, including other family tree and directory sites. You may get more ideas and places to search from my beginner's genealogy resources page. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~thecohens/resources.html Also see my finding aids page for more searching ideas and people search sites. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~thecohens/findingaids.html Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
