Maier, b. June 13, 1914, died 29 August 1982 in Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan. He lived in Highland, Oakland County, Michigan. His death notice may be in the Detroit papers but more likely in a local paper. For the Detroit newspapers: DEARBORN: Henry Ford Centennial Library (313) 943-2330, 16301 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Mi 48126. Has the Detroit News from 1955 and the Detroit Free Press from 1970.
