John McCAFFREY had lived and worked in Detroit up until the time of his death in 1901. John & Frances McCAFFREY had a family of five children as follows: 1) Margaret Elizabeth McCAFFREY (Mrs. Thomas Mayville) 1868-1954 2) Jane Agnes McCAFFREY (Mrs. Thomas Kelly & later Mrs. Loyal Gilchrist) 1875-1958 3) Ida Ann McCAFFREY (Mrs. John Robert Hancock) 1877- ? 4) William Andrew McCAFFREY 1879 - ? 5) Rosena Catherine McCAFFREY (Mrs. Wm.
