I am out of town or I would give you their website. Do a google search. The BHC has City of Detroit (only) index to deaths from about 1920 on. If they died in Wayne County between 1934 and 1944 (I thnk), the BHC has index books to Wayne County deaths excluding the City of Detroit. The Burton also has City of Detroit directories.
