They have an index to City of Detroit (only) deaths from about 1920 on. They also have several books with indexes to Wayne County deaths excluding the City of Detroit from about 1934-1944. You can email them at the following: http://www.detroit.lib.mi.us/burton/burton_index.htm Be sure to ask them if they will look at both indexes. You might also try the Dearborn Historical Museum. They have some kind of index to the Dearborn papers but not sure for what years and what exactly they indexed. You would either have to call or write them. They also have City Directories-not sure what years.
