Ceil MiPolonia.net On Tuesday, February 2, 2010 the Oakland County Genealogical Society will host an "Open House" to allow members and guests the opportunity to get better acquainted, while receiving individual family research assistance from experienced members of the Society. Individual tables will be set up for obtaining assistance on specific localities and ethnic groups. Planned help topics include: Blogging, Eastern European, English, French, German, Irish, Italian, Ontario, French Canadian, U.S. Census, Heritage Societies, and others. Beginners are especially welcome and a "Beginners" table will also be available. Be sure to bring your research problems or questions that are stunting the growth of your family tree. Please join us for this FREE Help Session! We will meet at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5500 N. Adams Road in Troy. It is located on the east side of Adams Road about halfway between Long Lake Rd. and Square Lake Rd., where Westview Rd. intersects from the west. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM and the public is invited. There is no charge. The church has a flat entrance and ample lighted parking.
