Mrs. Wicker was born in Ecorse, MI, to James Laughlin and Edith Louise Truesdale McQueen. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Wicker was a member of First Presbyterian Church and retried from Northern Hospital of Surry County. Surviving are a daughter, Denise L. House of Mount Airy; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Paula Lewis and Douglas Lewis, all of Austin, TX, and Benajaih Wicker, III of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Janice and Jim Clifton of Ranchos Murieta, CA, and Mary Lou Lynn of Trenton, MI. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wicker was preceded in death by her husband, Benajaih Pendleton Wicker, Jr.; a sister, Naomi Wingfield; and a brother, William McQueen. Her funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
