My great grandfather Adiel Julius DeRoo, also born in Pittem, West Flanders, Belgium Aug. 9, 1894. He also went to E. Moline, Illinois & died 1941 St. Joseph County, Indiana. His sister Pharailde Maria DeRoo, born March 9, 1890 West Flanders. Also came with her husband Mr. Heggerick. They both died in Detroit, MI. She died Sept. 6, 1933 And he in 1937. Pharailde's daughter Madeline DeVos (Heggerick)died in McCombe County, MI. Just North of Detroit If interested I have email addresses for Archives in Belgium that would greatly help your search.
