Jones and before I plunk down my money for the official death record, I would like to know if this is the right William Jones. He died April 26, 1950 in the Detroit area, 83 years old. I would appreciate some help on this. If anyone has access to the collection at Burton, this file is labeled Eloise, Box 116, file 10. To get it by mail, they are going to charge a search fee, plus mailing costs and copy fee. If someone could get it for me I would pay them a $5.00 fee plus what it costs to copy and mail to me. The William Jones I am looking for was born 12 Jan 1867 in Franklin Co. Ohio. His parents were Peter Stalba/Stolba and Rebecca Jones. They were married, but he assumed his mother's surname.
