Kasselhut/Kesselhut/ Ketelhut etc. to someone. He was b. 1858 in Keamerbruch, Rummelsburg. When he came to US in 1893 he settled in the German community of Troy, Ks a few miles west of St. Joseph, Mo. After here, he m. my grandmother, Augusta, also born 1858, only she b. in Lemtiz Betroit Ger, and also was a Kasselhut. I hope they were 2nd cousins. ha He was not very communicative but he had a brother in Detroit that he would take the train each year to visit. Some have said this brother was August and some say Frank. Past correspondance and pictures show resemblance. I am so curious about him and his family.
