Clark was born 1840 in Michigan, probably in Springwells or Nankin, Wayne Co. I believe he was the son of James Clark and Elizabeth (Allardyce) Clark, both born in Scotland and died in Wayne County, MI. William H. Clark married Annie Ledbetter or Ledbeater 1869 in Dearborn. They had the following children, that I know of: Clyde, Jennie, Arthur, Glendine / Glen, Juanita, and Isabella. Clyde A Clark died (unmarried) in 1881 and buried at Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit. Jennie E. Clark married Louis W. Howe in 1899 Dearborn and had a son, Elba, in 1902. Arthur P. (Pierson?) Clark married Elizabeth Snow Haight 1907, Dearborn. He may be buried at Northview Cemetery, Detroit. Glendine / Glen M. Clark married David R. Clark in 1915 Detroit. They had at least two children: David Jr (b. 1917) & Mary (b. 1920). Juanita B. Clark b. Jan 1884, MI, may have been buried at Northview Cemetery, Detroit. Death date unknown. Isabella C. Clark was b. 1886 and was still unmarried in 1920, Dearborn. No other information. William H. Clark had a school named after him in Dearborn and a street named after his family (CLARK STREET) in or near the town / village of Wayne, in or near Nankin Twp. William H. Clark had two SISTERS that lived to adulthood: -Isabella May Clark, who died in 1918, Dearborn. Isa owned land adjoining the cemetery in Wayne, MI (Old Michigan Ave.) and was a dressmaker in Chicago. She never married and was buried at Glenwood Cemetery. -Elizabeth Clark, married James Jamieson in 1861. They raised a large family in Wayne, Michigan and are buried at the Glenwood Cemetery, there.
