I didn't see her on the Social Security death index. If you have her actual date of death, have you tried to see if there is a death notice for her in the local paper? Or if she lived in a small town, have you tried the local funeral homes to see if they handled the arrangements and if they have additional information about her husband, maiden name etc.?
