Theodora Haas (who died 4 Nov 1911) was married to Lambert Metter. Albert & Mary (Mrs. Henry Biermannn) were two of their children. I have an aunt who is a descendant of Johanna Haas and her husband Jacob Hessell. Johanna, Theodora, and your Catherine were all daughters of Engelbert Haas. Members of the Hessell & Haas families immigrated to New York 15 Dec 1854 aboard the ship "Florence". I believe that your Catherine was amongst them. I have done some research on these families and gave my aunt all of my findings. The families were from Griethausen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany (my aunt still has the Griethausen church records film on loan from the LDS). I know that she talked about having Wisconsin relatives.
