She is the daughter of Engelbert Hass (sic) and Johanna Ferr??. Looks like she is buried at Assumption Grotto which most likely means that she was CAtholic. The Church may have additional information in their death register. If you live in the Detroit area, the Church records are at the Burton Historical Collection of the main Detroit Public Library. Informant for the DC is Bernard Biermann of Halfway, Michigan which, according to "Michigan Place Names" by Walter Romig, was later named East Detroit and is now Eastpointe. http://www.assumptiongrotto.com/ The Mormon Church's test website shows a marriage of Mary Metter to a Henry Biermann on 28 Oct 1896. http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=0 You might want to check what else the Mormon website has for the Metter & Biermann names.
