Howard Standley, b. 24 June 1895, died June 1964 in Michigan (I think I would that the death place with a grain of salt. I think it shows the place where the last SS check went to.) Too early for the Michigan death index which covers 1971-1996. Regarding the death certificates, you can get one from the State of Michigan for anyone who died in Michigan but from the counties, they must have died in that particular county. Or you could send for her death certificate. Should have the name of the cemetery if she were buried rather than cremated. Did she live here all her life? She could have been buried at an out of state cemetery if the family had purchased several graves.
