Author: BPolito3965 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.michigan.counties.wayne/17140.3/mb.ashx Message Board Post: As a former Trenton resident, I would suggest you contact the Trenton Historical Society. They keep records and many newspaper articles on people who lived and died in the community. They were at one time located at Trenton High School on Charlton Road, but may have moved. I would suggest that you do a google search for current address. Also Wynadotte has a genelogy society there and they may be able to help you out. Again try google. One thing to keep in mind is that the downriver communities were a close community where people knew each other and kept in touch with him, many never left the area. Good Luck in your research. My husband and I will be leaving for FL on Sat.,but I take my laptop with me so I can correspond with you. I do have the pictures of Dora (my ggrmother) and Charles (your ggrfather) hanging side by side. Only one Timothy Carroll birth was registered in Cork in 1892--in Millstreet district, July-Sept. 1892, vol. 5, p. 408. You could get a photocopy of the civil birth registration from the GRO (groireland.ie) for 4 euros with this information. If he's yours, that would give you his birth parish, which could lead to information about siblings and ancestors. Diane Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The Detroit Library charges $15.00 each. Generally, there is only a death notice in the papers rather than an obituary. Death notices generally but not always include the date of death, spouse's name and children, sometimes other family members, the name of the funeral home and church if there is a funeral service and sometimes the cemetery.
