Think I'm looking for a needle in a haystack....I have an Elizabeth Witte who died in Wisconsin in 1966 & I'm trying to work backwards. I believe that her name before marriage was Kendall (though not 100% sure....thought Kennel might have been a misprint), but she doesn't appear in the 1930 census in Wisconsin as Witte or Kendall.....so I assume she moved to Wisconsin. Someone suggested Michigan because there are a lot of Wittes/de Wittes, so thought maybe she had married there. Unfortunately, I don't know her husband's first name.
