    3. Not in the house, but able to be IM'd. I forwarded the death certificate scan to my niece (an internist, and not into genealogy). At first she thought it was something else (cardiac dextro position--a valid diagnosis), but that didn't really make sense to her. Then she decided on "cardiac decompensation". It's not a diagnosis she can use now, but she googled death certificates from around 1929, and found some listing that as the cause of death. She said heart failure and kidney failure go hand-in-hand, so it makes sense with the primary cause of death. The difficulty was that the doctor separated the 2nd word. I hope this helps. I have a death certificate which indicates the cause of death was chronic interstitial nephritis. I know what that is. The contributory cause looks like "cardiac dumnin pussition," but I am sure that is a correct spelling. Could anyone help with what the seconday cause should be? Thank you. Do a google search for the address. Also try the Bacon Memorial Library in Wyandotte, MI they have local newspapers. One thing to keep in mind is that not everyone has a obit published it is usually up to the family and funeral director have it published. Alos try Woodmere Cemetery as a lot of downriver people are buried there. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
