There is a park and a blvd. in Grosse Pointe named for the Brys family, but I can find no records on Herman, or his family. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Dan Harvey

The wife is originally from Detroit. So hoping Detroit is where the divorce was obtained. Pierce. No Census information in Michigan or Massachustts. I have searched familysearch.org, ancestry.com and NEHGS with no luck. Does anyone have any other ideas? My father (Betty Reynolds is his biological mother) and was told that she died and that is why he was put up for adoption. I have been able to find records for Charles B. Pierce and it looks like he was married to Leona Jozwiak and had a daugheter Alberta Pierce in 1932. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. If she died in the City of Detroit, she should appear on the death index for Detroit at the Burton. They are on microfiche. They also have books for Wayne County excluding Detroit starting in 1934 I think. If she or Omer appear in the Wayne county books, the Burton has copies of the death certificates. I think they charge $10.00 but I think you can make the copy yourself or at least you could several years ago. Mt. Elliott website has Nerincks listed including Augusta. Doesn't have her date of death/interment but they are very helpful.
