Judith, The Andrew Smith I am trying to get information on was born in Honeoye Falls, NY on 3 Aug 1832, he died in Ann Arbor on 13 Sep 1917. He married Paulina Fish in NY, before comming to AA. He lived all his life on Stien road, 1/2 mile west of the Whitmore Lake Road. His father was David Smith, born in 1785 in NY. Andrew purchased over 100 acres in the area, never really worked the farm, was a black smith and general "fix it" man for neighbor farmers.
