Got the info from Nancy King in Ann Arbor Michigan and the Washtenaw County Michigan Marriage records dated 14 March 1872. Could it be that he went by Wilhelm in Germany and then went by William when he came to the USA. The 1900 Washtenaw County Census has Salome born April 1848 you say 1845? Should we change it to 1845?
