    3. Hi Santa, Yes, it is VERY FRUSTRATING. But thank you for the reply. I can not believe that they would take info from someone that was either so young, or not even part of the family. But, who knows how they did things back then. My poor great grandmother, seems like no one knew anything about her. Her name, her birthdate, her birthplace, even her last name. I am having such a hard time finding anything that matches about her. According to her death certificate which the informant was her own daughter, nothing added up to what the census says. My mother said she was very close to her mother. But, I am beginning to believe the census is more accurate, than what my grandmother wrote on her death certificate. But I also, understand that at those kinds of times, you just don't think right anyway. But this is sure a mystery waiting to be solved!!! I also would like to thank EVERYONE who has sent me info. In a world that is not so perfect anymore, we still do have an awful lot of caring, loving people out there who are willing to help other people, strangers, that do not get the recognition.they deserve, so again I want to thank everyone very much. Have a wonderful, safe and happy weekend.
