    3. Samuella, I did it the old fashion way. I went to the NARA site http://www.archives.gov/ Nara And they have where you order for FREE order forms that take a couple of days to get to you. Then with the company information, I found mine on Ancestry.com, you send for the records but send no payment. They have a set payment of $37 no matter how many pages it contains. They can bill your credit card and will automatically start processing your order if you use a credit card but if you prefer check they will check to see if they have any records and tell you before you send payment. You receive a postcard stating it can take up to 60 or 90 days. I did very well with this one file since it was so large and so full of information. I will have my husband scan some of the pages onto the web page in the coming week and you can see actually what is provided in this one but they all vary with content of course. I have one ancestor that was in and out within one year so the record may not contain much so I do not wish to waste $37 and I already have documentation on his life. Another thing they also have indexes on many Native American tribes that might be of use. Take care Bushy Where did you find pension files?
