I'm still a newbie to ancestral tracing, but with all of the recent activity, I too will throw in my "dead end". My ggg grandfather was a William Mitchell, b 1806 somewhere in Tennessee, married to Mary Ann McKee on 3/21/1833 in St. Francois County, MO. At the 1850 census he was listed living in MO as a farmer owning the property. His children were: Sarah, William, Thomas, Rachel, Louisa, Adaline, James Baker (my gg gf), and John.
