Connie, I would suggest before you spend a lot of money on charts, that you think through how much genealogy you plan on doing and what you really want of the finished product. I started eight different charts - one for each of my eight great grandparents and still needed the full nine generation chart on five of them so far (for some reason it is called a 12 generation chart, but only has spaces for 9 generations). I am still working on the other 3 great grandparents' lines. Since these are the size of a poster, I glued them onto a poster that can be purchased at any local drug store. Using a temporary chart like this while I was working on each line allowed me to use different color ink for each surname which made it easy to find a certain surname at a glance. Now that I have five of the large type charts full, I can see that it would really be confusing with a bunch of small ones. Just something to think about. Marlene
